Bit2Me, Spain’s largest crypto exchange, officially launched Bit2Shield, an entity registered as CryptoShield S.L. dedicated to assisting courts, police and financial institutions in tracing, seizing and preserving crypto assets. The company had already processed 1.5 million euros in seized cryptos in 2025 in collaboration with Interpol and Europol. Bit2Shield supports investigators during raids, extracts wallet data, locates funds and produces forensic reports admissible in court. The entity also ensures custody of seized assets in multi-signature cold wallets before selling them upon judicial order, with proceeds paid in euros to state accounts. This formalization marks a step in the professionalization of the fight against crypto financial crime in Spain.
