Bio Protocol, a decentralized science (DeSci) platform, raised $6.9 million in September 2025 and has facilitated over $900,000 in research funding while minting more than 1,000 hypotheses onchain. The platform, which supports cumulative research initiatives valued between $15 million and $34 million, launched OpenLabs in July 2026 to accelerate the transition from funded hypotheses to laboratory work.
