Arena.ai has introduced seven detailed categories for evaluating image editing models, and OpenAI’s GPT Image 2 dominates the entire leaderboard with an Elo score of 1463, based on more than 165,000 community votes. The model’s lead reaches 242 Elo points in some categories, a gap that translates to roughly a 75% win probability according to Elo rating standards. Meta ranks second with Muse Image, followed by Microsoft in third place with MAI-Image-2.5. The platform has accumulated 28.5 million total votes across 52 models. This sweep across all categories consolidates OpenAI’s position at the top of the generative AI hierarchy.
