Arbitrum co-founder addresses decentralization concerns over Robinhood Chain

Arbitrum co-founder Steven Goldfeder has commented on the decentralization limitations of Robinhood Chain, whose sequencer is entirely controlled by Robinhood. He advocates for distributing the sequencer across multiple independent operators to enhance censorship resistance without modifying the existing fraud-proof mechanism. On September 4, 2026, a 14-minute outage disrupted block production, illustrating the risks of a single-entity sequencer.
