Aptos has deployed three opt-in privacy features on its mainnet: Keyless Accounts, Confidential APT, and an Encrypted Mempool. Keyless Accounts allow users to manage an on-chain identity without directly linking it to an address, while Confidential APT hides balances and transfer amounts using zero-knowledge proofs, with addresses remaining visible. The Encrypted Mempool protects transaction intent until transactions are finalized, aiming to reduce miner-extractable value. These features are mainly accessible through the Petra Wallet, but encrypted transactions require at least twice the network’s minimum gas price and cannot yet be signed by Keyless Accounts.
