Apple has handed Liu’s old work laptop to forensic examiners and alleges he recruited colleague Yu-Ting Peng to erase evidence in June. OpenAI filed a motion to dismiss on August 6, arguing that Apple lost the talent war and that its own access controls created the exposure. Apple stock (AAPL) closed at $316.85 on Monday, down 0.89%, but still holds a 16.38% year-to-date gain.
