Apple hits $5 trillion market cap and overtakes Nvidia: four times Bitcoin’s capitalization

Apple surpassed the $5 trillion market cap during trading, becoming the second company in history after Nvidia to reach this level, reclaiming the title of world’s most valuable company. The stock has risen more than 22% year-to-date, the best performance among the Magnificent Seven, driven by AI investments limited to $12.7 billion versus the $175 to $185 billion forecast by Alphabet. Meanwhile, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $5.4 billion in net outflows since January, including $4.5 billion in June alone, while the total crypto market cap stands between $2.1 and $2.3 trillion, down from $4.27 trillion at the October 2025 peak. BTC’s correlation with gold reached 0.57, reflecting a massive rotation of capital from crypto toward assets perceived as safer such as Apple.
