Anthropic announced on October 21, 2026, that Claude Security now continuously monitors connected repositories and automatically rescans code whenever a new version is submitted. After an initial deep scan, the tool runs lighter checks on each change and tracks every vulnerability until it is resolved, which it can detect automatically or reopen if the issue resurfaces. The public beta is limited to Claude Enterprise customers, who can connect up to eight repositories and receive up to $25,000 in monthly usage credits for two months, through December 31, 2026. Since its launch in April 2026, the tool has reportedly enabled thousands of organizations to identify more than one million vulnerabilities, while an optional scanner for open source projects uncovered 493 issues across 25 projects.
