Anthropic has announced an $895 billion commitment to future AI infrastructure spending, the largest amount the company has disclosed to date. These purchases and leases, primarily focused on computing capacity, run through 2045 and were included in an amended IPO filing prepared for a potential Nasdaq listing under the ticker “ANT.” The company expects to spend approximately $447.5 billion by the end of 2030, including $69.8 billion over the next 12 months. Market pricing assigns only a 1.4% probability to a $600 billion valuation by the end of the year, compared with a 40.5% probability of reaching $2 trillion. Strategic partnerships, funding announcements and the Nasdaq listing are the main developments to monitor.
