Pi Network has released Pi Desktop version 0.6.4, making it easier to access applications hosted locally on SoloHost remotely without opening ports or manually modifying a router. The update also adds security checks during application installation and startup to ensure it can only access its own files and network resources. The team has confirmed that it successfully completed the upgrade to Protocol 28 on October 16, improving the handling of delayed transactions and providing developers with more flexibility for maintaining smart contracts. Despite these advances, the PI token fell 2.7% over one day to $0.076, leaving it 97% below its all-time high and only 7% above its all-time low.
