AMD estimates that the server CPU market will reach approximately $220 billion by 2030, with annual growth of about 50% driven by agentic AI and inference. The figure has been revised upward from the $60 billion forecast in late 2025 and the $120 billion estimate in May 2026. In the third quarter of 2026, AMD generated $8.5 billion in data center revenue, up 97% year over year, and expects its server revenue to double in 2027. The company targets more than 80% overall revenue growth that year, while data centers are expected to account for more than 80% of its revenue.
