Andy Jassy, Amazon’s CEO since 2021, said young people can neither run away from artificial intelligence nor wish it away, but should embrace it to become more creative and efficient. The 58-year-old executive, who leads a company valued at $2.6 trillion and whose two Generation Z children are 25 and 22 years old, advises young people from all backgrounds to learn, experiment and use artificial intelligence daily. He said the technology can eliminate tedious tasks such as preliminary reading, research and note-taking while enabling people to invent faster. However, he warned against excessive reliance: artificial intelligence-generated writing can lack coherence, while human judgment, ingenuity and critical thinking will remain essential in the workplace. Daniel Lubetzky and Matt Garman also emphasized the importance of curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and adaptability for young workers.
