Airbnb plans to launch its own AI-powered travel agent in the first half of 2027, according to its third-quarter shareholder letter. The agent will combine a library of hundreds of travel-specific interface elements, behavioral data gathered over 20 years and the ability to book directly within the app. Airbnb is betting on a personalized concierge experience that brings together accommodation, local experiences and trip planning. Airbnb reported $4.87 billion in revenue, 155 million booked nights and seats, and 34,000 subscribers to its daily briefing covering AI, technology and markets.
