Decentralized lending protocol Aave has proposed a rollover mechanism for its fixed-yield USDG tokens on the X Layer network, allowing borrowers to transfer their stablecoin debt into a new position maturing in February 2027. According to LlamaRisk’s October 8 assessment, the implied annualized yield of the February token stands at approximately 2.98%, falling below the quoted borrowing rates for USDT0 (4.12%), USDC (5.87%) and USDG (3.75%). With five times leverage, the financing cost exceeds the gross principal token gain in all tested scenarios. OKX offers a Wallet bonus capped at 2% APY for the October token, though February reward eligibility remains undefined. The X Layer market shows approximately 59.79 million October token units supplied as collateral and $61.12 million in borrowing.
