Bridge Data Centres, a Singapore-based hyperscale operator majority-owned by Bain Capital, is in talks to increase its loan facility to up to $6 billion. This follows a $2.8 billion senior secured bank loan closed in March 2025 to fund expansion primarily in Malaysia and Thailand. The company is targeting roughly 2 gigawatts of regional capacity by 2030, with its pipeline already exceeding 1.5 gigawatts across Malaysia, Thailand, and India. A flagship project is the QHI01 campus in Thailand, planned for up to 200 megawatts of capacity at approximately $1.2 billion. The loan is reportedly structured with a short 12-month tenor, introducing refinancing risk when the company returns to market for longer-duration capital.
