a16z leads TypeSafe AI’s Series A at a $7.5 billion valuation

Andreessen Horowitz led a Series A round of approximately $870 million for TypeSafe AI, valuing the San Francisco startup at $7.5 billion. The company, which only came out of stealth on September 15, 2026, had raised a $40 million seed round just a month earlier at a $200 million valuation. Its model Jev, which executes structured queries with latency under 100 milliseconds, reached one million users within days and is now used by roughly one-third of Fortune 500 companies. Early interest in a potential round exceeding $1 billion at a valuation above $10 billion was reported.
