During SpaceX’s third-quarter 2026 earnings call, Elon Musk said the company’s annualized recurring revenue could reach between $500 billion and $1 trillion by the end of 2027. The projection depends mainly on the company’s artificial intelligence compute and superintelligence businesses rather than on space launches. In the third quarter of 2026, SpaceX generated $14.575 billion in revenue, up 161% year over year, including $7.56 billion from its superintelligence segment, an 830% increase. Chief financial officer Bret Johnsen forecast $33 billion to $37 billion in revenue for the first quarter of 2027 and capital expenditure of $35 billion to $40 billion for the fourth quarter of 2026. SpaceX plans to add roughly 10 gigawatts of AI compute capacity by the end of 2027 and is rolling out the enterprise-focused GrokBot product.
