The attackers used more than 20,000 wallets and 65,000 transactions, mainly on Tron and then Ethereum, while about $124 million has already been converted into bitcoin. Elliptic says the process is clearly automated, but there is no evidence that artificial intelligence agents were used; the thieves are still expected to convert the remaining funds into bitcoin and gradually offload them through brokers.
