Gnosis Pay detected unauthorized access on November 3 to the system powering its retail cards and said it contained the intrusion in less than two hours. The exposed data reportedly included names, postal addresses and information linked to blockchain wallets, although the company said no funds were lost. The number of affected customers was not disclosed, and the public announcement came three days after detection. Gnosis Pay increased monitoring, made 3D Secure mandatory for online card payments and began investigating potential reuse of the stolen data. Its business platform and partner cards were not affected, while the retail service was scheduled to shut down on December 20.
