How to Revoke NFT Approvals, Step by Step

Share

NFT approvals allow a marketplace or protocol to transfer your assets and remain active until they are explicitly revoked, even after you disconnect your wallet. Blur will shut down its frontend on November 12, 2026, while its contracts will remain operational on Ethereum and Blend will stop matching new loans that same day. To clean up approvals, you can use Revoke.cash or Etherscan’s Token Approval Checker, then confirm each revocation in your wallet and pay the network fee. Before revoking Blur and Blend approvals, withdraw ETH from the bidding pool, cancel open listings and bids, and repay or close existing loans. Unrevoked approvals remain a persistent attack surface, as illustrated by the PaymentProcessorV2 exploit, and no official migration approval is required.
