Gnosis Pay detected unauthorized access on November 3 to its former infrastructure for crypto cards issued to individual customers and blocked the intrusion in less than two hours. The compromised data reportedly included names, postal addresses, card numbers and wallet addresses, while customers’ funds remain intact. Combining this information with publicly accessible blockchain data increases the risk of targeted scams and may allow attackers to link a customer’s crypto holdings to a place of residence. Gnosis Pay has introduced 3D Secure for online purchases and has warned customers to remain vigilant about fraud attempts impersonating the company. Its business platform was reportedly unaffected, and the compromised system was already scheduled to close on December 20, 2026, as the company shifts away from retail cards to focus on professional clients.
