After Money Market Funds, Amundi Tokenizes Part of an Index Fund on Ethereum

Share

Amundi announced on November 5 the launch of a tokenized share of its index fund Amundi Core STOXX Europe 600, in collaboration with CACEIS. The offering uses the public Ethereum blockchain and CACEIS’s tokenization infrastructure, while retaining the fund’s traditional distribution channels and existing operating model. Investors gain exposure to the European equities in the index, but the underlying companies are not directly registered on Ethereum. Amundi managed nearly €2.6 trillion in assets as of September 30, although the amount invested in the new share class has not been disclosed. The launch follows the introduction of a tokenized share of the money market fund Amundi Funds Cash EUR, announced in November 2025.
