In October 2026, Broadridge’s Distributed Ledger Repo (DLR) platform processed $7.6 trillion in repo transactions, equivalent to average daily volume of $345 billion. These transactions involve the temporary sale of securities with an agreement to repurchase them at a specified price. The platform uses a distributed ledger to execute and settle these operations, which are primarily used by financial institutions to raise cash and manage funding needs. Broadridge also launched DLX, a platform for issuing, trading, settling, custodying, and servicing tokenized assets. The published figures represent the total notional value of transactions, rather than new capital entering the crypto market, and therefore do not measure investor appetite for bitcoin or ether.
