Loopscale, a lending protocol on Solana, paused all operations on November 5, 2026, after a sophisticated attack campaign targeting its SOL and USDC Genesis Vaults. The protocol says no user deposits were lost and that the affected vaults were made whole. The campaign involved more than 30,000 malicious API requests per day for a week, and Loopscale is now working with federal law enforcement after identifying four wallets linked to the attack. Depositors still cannot lend, borrow, or adjust positions while operations remain paused, pending further assessments and security hardening measures. The same vaults were previously attacked in April 2025, when approximately $5.7 million in USDC and 1,211.4 SOL were drained before being recovered.
