Solana processed approximately 3.3 billion successful non-vote transactions in October, setting a new monthly record for the sixth consecutive month. The network averaged about 109 million daily transactions, up from 2.93 billion in August and 3.18 billion in September. In the third quarter, transaction volume reached between 8.78 billion and 8.92 billion, representing an increase of roughly 23% to 24% from the previous quarter. The growth was driven by shorter slot times, higher block compute limits, stronger decentralized exchange trading, increased stablecoin usage and more on-chain payment activity. However, the figures largely reflect high-frequency trading and bots rather than necessarily indicating organic user growth.
