Tria announced on October 30 a feature allowing AI agents to open and close perpetual futures positions in a user’s account on Hyperliquid and Decibel. The dedicated keys permit trading operations only, do not authorize withdrawals, and can be time-limited or revoked. According to the API documentation, both venues operate on real mainnet markets, with no testnet environment. Revoking a key stops new instructions but does not cancel pending orders or close existing positions. The launch therefore demonstrates the value of controlled delegation while highlighting the need to verify parameters, execution, and residual exposure.
