Chainlink says Aave’s institutional lending platform Horizon has used a new weekend pricing service since October 29, initially covering the most heavily traded U.S. equities. When stock markets are closed, the reference prices come from multiple perpetual-futures venues, while Chainlink continues using its existing data during weekday extended and overnight sessions. The continuous valuation can expose deteriorating collateral earlier and trigger liquidation before the exchange reopens, but it does not ensure that the collateral can be exited or that the debt can be recovered. The initial equity tokens, their feed addresses and their liquidation settings have not been disclosed. The initiative is separate from Aave V4’s Equities Hub on Base, which retained the last value of its stock tokens during weekends.
