Kimberly-Clark completed its acquisition of Kenvue, valuing the combined company at nearly $49 billion including debt, and targets $1.9 billion in cost reductions within three years. The group also expects $500 million in incremental profits from higher revenue, offset by $300 million in reinvestments, while seeking to improve e-commerce capabilities and accelerate growth at brands including Tylenol, Band-Aid, Zyrtec, Neutrogena and Listerine. Key challenges include integrating Kenvue, managing inflationary input costs, keeping prices affordable and addressing legal risks related to allegations concerning autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children. Kimberly-Clark intends to preserve its 4.73%-yielding dividend, reduce leverage to around 2.0 by the second year and maintain its A credit rating.
