Anthropic is removing the rolling five-hour usage limit for verified subscribers to its top-tier Ultra plan for Claude. The weekly cap remains unchanged at ten times the Pro plan allowance, while long-running sessions can now continue without a five-hour interruption. The Ultra plan, previously called Max 20x, costs $200 per month, and usage limits adjust automatically without any pricing or billing changes. New Ultra accounts will retain a temporary five-hour limit until verification, which Anthropic describes as a fraud-prevention measure. Max plan subscribers, who pay $100 per month, will remain subject to the five-hour usage window.
