Securitize answers anti-tokenization Wall Street Journal ad with a full-page ad of its own

A full-page advertisement published in The Wall Street Journal on October 24-25, 2026, under the name of the Common Sense Leadership Fund urged public company executives to opt out of tokenized stock trading. It highlighted four risks associated with unregulated platforms: price disparities, obscured ownership, impaired capital raising and potential executive liability. Carlos Domingo, CEO of Securitize, called the advertisement misleading and argued that tokenization conducted under SEC rules eliminates the risks described. On October 28, Securitize ran its own full-page ad under the #TokenizationDoneRight banner to promote the benefits of regulated tokenization. The dispute comes as dozens of public companies oppose specific tokenized stock venue plans, while Securitize, which went public on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2026 under the ticker SECZ, is working on tokenized U.S. stock offerings; the original ad’s funder remains unknown.
