Billionaire venture capitalist Tim Draper says the growing adoption of Bitcoin could trigger mass withdrawals from banks and erode confidence in fiat currencies, including the U.S. dollar. He believes companies will first accept Bitcoin alongside traditional currencies before progressively adopting it exclusively. Draper describes this evolution as a “seismic shift” that could transform the global financial system. He has also predicted that Bitcoin could reach $250,000 in roughly two years, partly because of the halving scheduled for 2028, and has recommended that companies hold between 5% and 15% of their reserves in the cryptocurrency.
