DekaBank acquired 104,921 shares of Strategy, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker MSTR, for approximately $15.2 million, or about $145 per share. It is the German asset manager’s first disclosed position in the company, which held 848,517 BTC as of October 2026. The investment came after DekaBank launched its “Krypto – powered by Deka” crypto service on October 19, 2026, allowing clients to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP and Polygon. DekaBank is pursuing a two-track strategy by giving clients direct access to crypto while gaining indirect exposure to Bitcoin through a Nasdaq-listed security. This approach is gaining traction as Deutsche Bank and Belgium’s KBC Group have also reported increasing their stakes in Strategy.
