JPMorgan, Coca-Cola Among 7 More Companies Objecting to OKX-ICE Tokenized Stocks

JPMorgan Chase, Coca-Cola, Dell, AMD, Adobe, Applied Materials and Sandisk objected to the trading of their shares on the OKXICE TSV platform, according to an Oct. 27 notice. The number of issuers that formally objected rose from 26 to 33, compared with nine on Oct. 15. Under the SEC’s innovation exemption, a written objection submitted within 30 days prevents that venue from offering tokenized versions of the company’s shares, without affecting other venues. The platform, a 50-50 joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange and OKX, plans to allow approved users to trade tokenized U.S. stocks 24/7 through Uniswap v4 pools on the XLayer blockchain.
