Coinbase said on X that it had not suffered a data breach. The security incident involved Amplitude, a third-party analytics vendor, and affected a small subset of Coinbase customer contact data, along with data belonging to other Amplitude customers. The platform said it found no evidence of unauthorized access to its systems and that customer funds were not impacted, adding that it had notified affected customers and the relevant regulatory agencies.
