According to a RedStone report, the market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets on Stellar surpassed $4.1 billion at the end of the third quarter of 2026, a 36% quarter-over-quarter increase and a 548% year-over-year rise. Just 0.1% of the $3.56 billion involved serves as collateral in decentralized finance protocols, while Stellar’s total DeFi value locked stands between $224 million and $259 million. Spiko leads with approximately $1.55 billion in tokenized assets, followed by Franklin Templeton’s BENJI ecosystem with $546 million and Ondo with $535 million. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar in the first half of 2027, potentially enabling tokenized U.S. Treasuries and other financial instruments, although asset pricing and liquidity remain barriers to wider collateral use.
