Intel shares rose 4.9% to a session high, trading near $93, after New Street Research analyst Pierre Ferragu upgraded the stock to Buy. He set a $125 price target, implying potential upside of about 38%, driven primarily by strong demand for server processors linked to artificial intelligence. The firm expects Intel to expand its server capacity by more than 50% by 2027 and generate $50 billion in server CPU sales by 2030. Ahead of the scheduled third-quarter earnings release on October 29, analysts expect adjusted revenue of $16.5 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $0.40.
