Anthropic is preparing for its Nasdaq listing under the ticker ANT, with a potential valuation exceeding $2 trillion that would make it the seventh most valuable listed company in the world. In the second quarter of 2026, the company behind Claude generated $11.6 billion in revenue and posted an operating profit of $974 million, after a $1.67 billion loss in the previous quarter. Growth is supported by a professional customer base reportedly accounting for about 80% of revenue, Claude Code and API products, and backing from Amazon and Google. The main risks include the very high expected valuation, $417 billion in commitments to computing suppliers, reliance on a small number of customers, and political risk linked to Pentagon restrictions. Anthropic also says it does not expect to pay a dividend in the short term and warns that its technologies could pose a danger to humanity.
