Lightning Labs is urging users to immediately update software deployed on Lightning nodes. The new binaries no longer trust the compromised eMudhra certificate keys. Updating the Go environment on a host is not sufficient to secure software that has already been installed. The disclosure therefore calls for prompt software updates rather than a host-level Go update alone.
