The ShibTorch platform, integrated into the Shiba Inu ecosystem, is currently not burning any SHIB because of two technical obstacles. It must first collect 1,000 BONE to trigger an operation, but has accumulated only 371.37; the bridge connecting Shibarium to Ethereum, which is needed to transfer the SHIB to a dead wallet, has also been paused since the 2025 exploit. The ShibTorch page additionally displays a loading failure because its data indexer is no longer available, although the ShibWatch tracker can provide burn data directly from the contracts. According to that tracker, 69.32 billion SHIB have already been burned through ShibTorch, worth a total of $1.27 million at the price recorded for each burn, while the platform is currently undergoing maintenance.
