Pump.fun now uses Pump Bridge by default for cross-chain trades on its Solana-based platform, replacing Relay on October 21, 2026. According to the platform’s internal tests, buys execute about twice as faster and the error rate falls by 92%, from above 10% to below 1%. Under Relay, a typical transaction took around four seconds and more than 10% took longer than seven seconds, while Pump Bridge currently charges no additional bridging fees. The platform is targeting an execution time of approximately 1.1 seconds, although that remains a goal rather than an achieved result. These figures have not yet been published independently, and the shift to in-house infrastructure is intended to improve latency and the user experience, while competing platform FOMO continues to use Relay.
