On October 13, 2026, thieves broke into a FedEx truck outside Professional Sports Authenticator’s offices in Santa Ana, California, and stole two pallets of Pokémon and sports cards. Police valued the stolen cards at $963,000 at the time of the incident, while a third pallet was disturbed. No arrests have been made and the cards have not been recovered. Among the affected collectors is YouTuber SKY-B Cards, who says the 104 cards in his shipment were insured for up to $156,000 and included several one-of-one cards, a Barry Sanders autograph numbered three of five and a defective LeBron James card. He says he paid more than $8,000 in grading fees, while PSA has promised to compensate affected customers based on fair market value and return their grading fees.
