Bybit plans to seek partnerships with major brokers to offer its multi-asset trading services to US customers and compete with Robinhood. The platform already allows eligible users outside restricted jurisdictions to trade more than 1,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs, but US residents are excluded. Trades are executed through Alpaca Securities, with Infra Capital Limited acting as an introducing broker, and funded with USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Bybit offers zero commissions on eligible trades, fractional shares, pre-market and after-hours sessions, and dividend reinvestment in USDC, with trading available 24 hours a day, five days a week. The strategy, led by CEO Ben Zhou, is intended to expand the platform, which has more than 80 million users worldwide, beyond crypto into traditional markets.
