Securitize announced on October 20, 2026 a partnership with Anchorage Digital Bank allowing it to mint and redeem stablecoins directly for settlement in tokenized fund transactions. Anchorage, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, will provide the dollars needed for transactions on Securitize’s platform, which hosts funds from BlackRock, Apollo and KKR. The partnership aims to reduce intermediaries in trade settlement and bring the cash component of transactions closer to federal oversight by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Securitize manages more than $4 billion in assets, while USDtb, one of Anchorage’s stablecoins, had approximately $530 million in reserves as of August 31, 2026, with 99 percent backed by BUIDL tokens.
