SEC to host roundtable on machine-understandable data for super intelligence

Share

The Securities and Exchange Commission will host a roundtable on November 9, 2026 in Washington on machine-readable data in the context of super intelligence. Executives from BlackRock, JPMorgan, Meta, Google, S&P and Two Sigma will join regulators to examine how artificial intelligence systems consume financial data. Form N-PORT data volume increased over 14x year-over-year in July 2026, illustrating the growing demand for this type of data. This roundtable follows a September 2026 event on artificial intelligence and public markets, and responds to an executive order defining super intelligence. It constitutes a listening exercise whose findings could inform future regulatory practices.
