AnchorWatch announced Monday the opening of its Nevada state-chartered trust company, targeting public companies holding BTC, trusts and high-net-worth individuals. The firm differentiates itself with fixed annual fees capped at $10,000 per month, contrasting with the percentage-of-assets charges typical of qualified custodians. It offers two custody models: Flagship Custody and multi-institution custody distributing key control across AnchorWatch, BitGo and CoinCorner, reducing concentration risk. Coverage is provided by A+ rated Lloyd’s of London syndicates with limits up to $370 million per client, covering violent coercion, kidnapping and losses from fraudulent acts by AnchorWatch itself. AnchorWatch’s Trident Vault platform has secured customer Bitcoin for 20 months and has been audited by Halborn and Doyensec.
