British fintech Revolut has secured a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Provider license in Gibraltar from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, granted to its subsidiary Revolut Global Digital Assets Limited. This authorization will enable Revolut to expand its crypto-asset services to international markets beyond the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. The company serves over 80 million retail customers worldwide, including approximately 16 million crypto-asset users.
