Binance’s bStocks platform has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management approximately four months after its launch, the company announced on October 15. The platform also reports over $40 billion in cumulative trading volume and offers an expanded range of tokenized US shares and exchange-traded funds. These instruments allow eligible users to trade tokens representing exposure to underlying securities held through custody arrangements. The products are not available to US persons and are subject to eligibility restrictions in other regions. Binance has also explored using tokenized equity holdings as collateral for derivatives positions, offering investors a reason to hold these instruments beyond simple price exposure. Sustained growth for these products will depend on transparent backing, reliable liquidity and the ability to offer advantages that conventional market infrastructure cannot easily replicate.
