Karpelès has detected hardware implants in devices supplied by two additional resellers, expanding the scope of this tampering campaign. Ledger stated that inspections of its stock in Germany revealed no tampering and that the company has not confirmed any fund drain linked to a device purchased outside Southeast Asia. Ledger acknowledges that its authenticity checks cannot detect these hardware additions.
