Azuki Labs has launched AZUKI, a free original manga written and illustrated by Arnold Tsang, the former Overwatch Character Art Director. Chapter 1, titled « Sisters », premiered on September 17, 2026 on Azuki.com, with new chapters released on the third Thursday of each month. This manga serves as the narrative center of a broader universe that includes a physical trading card game derived from the same world and mythology. Azuki Labs reported that the TCG crossed the $1 million mark in direct-to-player presales ahead of its retail launch. This strategy aims to offer multiple entry points into the Azuki universe — reading, play, and collecting — without any single product being considered the entire brand on its own.
