THORChain experienced an interruption of its TRON operations on Oct. 9 after four of its six USDT vaults on that blockchain were blocklisted, affecting approximately $1.45 million. The affected vaults held 93% of the protocol’s TRON USDT, causing trading, transaction signing, and liquidity-provider actions to halt. Co-founder Chad Barraford said the protocol received no communication before the action and did not know why it happened. Operations resumed the same day, but the cause of the incident remains unclear.
